Don Dixon - Romeo At Julliard

Reposted because, Dammit, I dig Don Dixon...

Previously I posted the album,
"Most Of The Girls Like to Dance..." because dammit, I dig Don Dixon.

So in honor of my new USB turntable I dug out his album (currently out of print) "Romeo At Julliard" which has one fine, fine song after another. Check it out!

Just discovered your blog and I wanted to say that Romeo at Julliard is my FAVORITE Dixon record. I still listen to it regularly. I saw him with Arrogance in March and it was an awesome show.

Not sure how I missed Buddy Love for all these years but I bought Now....and Then a few months ago thru Not Lame and really liked it. Looking forward to hearing the new stuff! Thanks!

Thanks so much for this. My turntable died years ago so I'm glad you ponied up the cash for the usb turntable before I had to. And then you did the right thing with it, too! Thanks again. This has been one of my favorite albums since it came out!

Don is certainly one-of-a-kind. The other day I heard a beautiful recording of Don on this new album by singer/songwriter Kelley Ryan (Collaborator with Marshall Crenshaw). I went to Ryan's website and found out she s offering her new album TWIST for $1 up to release on 2/16 - what's better than $1 for an album!? Here is her website:
